History Honors Society

The ±¬ÁÏ¹Ï chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society, is a community of students and faculty dedicated to the study and discussion of history. Each semester, students plan outings to local historic sites, museums, and cultural institutions.
As a national honor society, we bring together individuals who share a passion for historical scholarship through academic events, service opportunities, and professional development. Our chapter fosters a supportive environment for intellectual growth and having fun! Students annually participate in ±¬ÁϹϒs Celebration of Scholarship and the regional Phi Alpha Theta regional conference. Whether you're pursuing a history degree or you have a passion for the past, Phi Alpha Theta offers a place to deepen your engagement and connect with others who value the past and its relevance to today.
